WHAT is a one hour mix?
A one hour mix is perfect for creatives who are looking to save time mixing audio while also enhancing the sound of their 2-3 minute social media video, or for television editors needing an easy and professional service for mixing their commercials or show inserts.THE SERVICE INCLUDES...
Cleaning up dialogue so that it's intelligible and distraction free.
Removal of clicks, pops, and an overall smoothing of all tracks
Levelling of audio sources and adding any necessary EQ and compression, whilst maintaining clarity and intrinsic natural cohesion.
Mastering a professionally balanced full stereo mix to meet industry standard specifications for your choice of playout platform.
Bouncing out Stems for future use in case you ever need isolated audio again.All this will be done to highest standards that can practically be achieved within 1 hour.HOW LONG CAN THE TRACK BE?3 minutes in duration would at be the upper end of what would be considered to qualify as a 1 hour mix when there are multiple sources of dialogue audio, multiple effects and music tracks. But a longer duration could still qualify if it is more simple in it's sound design.DONT WORRY we will triage your files and call you in the first ten minutes if your job exceeds what's possible within a 1 hour timeframe.Note: ALL AUDIO MUST BE IN PLACE IN YOUR EDIT - a one hour mix does not include sourcing audio for you.Hear some ONE HOUR MIX examples...
WHAT ABOUT MAKING CHANGES?
Once you receive your final mix, if you're unhappy with it in any way, please let us know immediately. Our aim is to make your project sound great within the timeframe allocated. But if you think we have missed the mark somewhere, please tell us and we will consider making changes and sending you a new mix.If you need an editorial change, it's best to get in touch with us on whether it would require paying for another one hour mix or just a small fee for the time required.As part of our service we always provide you with stems, which are isolated parts of the full mix so that you have some flexibility with future editorial changes or use in subsequent work. Stems will usually be delivered to you as three seperate .wav files - dialogue, effects, and music.
WHAT is an Audio Fix Up?
Clipping, clicks, echos, hums, distortion, cicadas, fridges, freezers, wind, helicopters... the list goes on for ways that audio can suffer during recording. Rather then spending money on expensive plugins to save your work, let our experienced engineers utilise all their best tricks and extremely expensive software to repair the damage and save the day!Our audio fix up service is designed so that you can send your original recording from a single source to us and let our team analyse and repair it so that it's in it's best condition for the human ear and your broadcast platform.If the audio is too damaged for any significant improvements to be made, or it's a bigger job than can be completed within the allocated half hour, we'll let you know so you can decide how you would like to proceed.
